The Israel Franchise Promotion Center (IFPC) is a public institution that promotes franchising nationwide and offers assistance to potential and current franchisees and franchisers.
Franchising is an effective key to growth, especially during periods of recession. It allows companies to grow without demanding major capital investments in equity, minimizes risks, enables people to enter active businesses – often without previous experience – and promises a far greater than average likelihood of success.
The IFPC aims at developing and advancing franchising in Israel, following recent trends in most western countries.
The IFPC, set up by the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority (ISMEA) and the Jerusalem Business Development Center (MATI), possesses the country’s richest reserve in Israel of knowledge and expertise in the franchising field.

The IFPC offers a wide variety of services for potential franchisees, including:
chain location, negotiation assistance, economic feasibility assessment, access to premium business databases,  financing assistance and professional business mentoring.
